🎠Hi, Im Colin

I enjoy wearing multiple hats as a theatre-maker, facilitator, storyteller, design thinker, embodiment coach, and entrepreneur. I am an international facilitator and speaker, a prolific traveller and cultural creative.

With a playful curiosity, I explore the hybrid intersection of creative disciplines and seek opportunities to synthesise these different strands of thought and practice.
I also support individuals and teams to cultivate expanded perspectives and approaches to problem-solving through creative and immersive learning experiences.

My journey spans 14 years based in Norway, peppered with extensive international travel, and 18 years back in South Africa. Rooted in anthropological theatre and cultural performance, my exploration has led me to storytelling, design thinking, and embodiment as transformative tools for growth and innovation. Yet theatre is always my first love.

For over 20 years, I’ve helped leaders, creatives, and teams discover the power of embodied storytelling. Drawing on theatre and movement practices, I invite people back into presence so their stories can breathe, land, and resonate.

I am also a design thinking facilitator, including global collaborations with the DesignThinkers Group. My work brings storytelling and embodied theatre into problem-solving projects that require deep listening, creativity and empathy. Whether working with individuals or cross-functional teams, I use story and body intelligence to unlock new thinking, build trust, and ignite creativity.

I’m also experienced in online facilitation and virtual learning design, ensuring that even in digital spaces, engagement and intimacy are preserved.

Whether we’re in a coaching session, workshop, or keynote space, my work is about unlocking the creative intelligence of the body to shift minds, build trust, and move ideas into action.

I currently live in Johannesburg.

🔥 The Story Spark Framework
My signature process for embodied storytelling.
The Story Spark blends structure and soul to help individuals and teams:
-
Sense: Build presence through breath and body awareness
-
Personal: Uncover authentic, lived stories
-
Arc: Shape experience using timeless narrative structure
-
Resonance: Connect emotionally and energetically with your audience
-
Kinetic: Rehearse, refine, and embody the story in motion

This method powers my coaching, facilitation, and speaking engagements.
