Hi, I'm Colin

I enjoy wearing multiple hats as a facilitator, storyteller, design thinker, applied theatre practitioner, embodiment coach and entrepreneur.

With a playful curiosity, I explore the hybrid intersection of the above, related disciplines and seek opportunities to creatively synthesise these different strands of thought and practice.

I support individuals and teams to cultivate expanded perspectives and approaches to problem-solving through creative learning experiences.

A Transition Story

In the midst of registering for a master's degree, a life-altering call to my partner, Nicole, changed everything. Learning she was pregnant shifted my priorities, bringing uncertainties about supporting a family as a theatre-maker. Having just returned to South Africa after 14 years abroad, financial insecurities loomed.

Determined, I navigated this challenge, and three significant events unfolded during my master's journey.

Firstly, Nicole and I became entrepreneurs, launching SoyLites—a successful natural products business, providing the resources for creative pursuits. Secondly, my focus in theatre shifted to applying its principles in organizational contexts. Facilitating creative journeys for individuals and teams became a passion.

Lastly, the greatest adventure began with the birth of our daughter, Jazmin. This transition, marked by unexpected turns, led to newfound perspectives and successful ventures.
